Intercultural Training at the Baltic Sea

From 23-26 April 2019, students went to the Baltic Sea for a 3-day intercultural training. On the first day, students had a harbour tour from Warnemünde to Rostock, followed by a guided city tour through the city of Rostock. Day two and three were dedicated to the intercultural training. Students got to know each other better in a relaxed atmosphere, introducing themselves by presenting an something (item, picture, dress, gesture, food, recipe) from their home country. They learned about culture shock, cultural differences, university life and challenges for their studies in Germany. A BBQ, walks at the beach across the street from the hostel and dinner at a restaurant made this trip an unforgettable experience.
