There is no application fee.

The service fee for the 18-month programme is € 2,500, and must be paid in a lump sum after admission. Payment in instalments is not possible.

In addition to the service fee for the programme, students are also subject to a semester fee of around €357,30 (subject to change). This fee must be paid prior to the start of each semester. The semester fee covers an administrative fee and contributions to ASTA (the student union) and the Studierendenwerk (the organisation that runs student cafeterias and residence halls throughout Berlin). Please see the university website for further information regarding this fee.

If you have to cancel your study place before the semester starts, we will refund the full service fee. The semester fee will also be refunded, minus a €50 administrative fee. All refunds will only be handled from May, after the start of the semester.

Admitted applicants who withdraw from their study place until 31 March of the year the programme starts are eligible for this refund.

In addition to the service fee, students require approximately €1,065-1,685 per month to cover living expenses.
